The House Bill (HB) 110 Conference Committee is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. today to issue its report reflecting the compromise reached between the two chambers. We will update members on the details but want you to know we've been informed that the Fair School Funding Plan appears to be the basis for the new school funding formula.

The House and Senate are both expected to vote today at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively, sending the final bill sent to the governor for his signature. Governor DeWine must sign the bill before July 1 and may disapprove of any item or items in HB 110 through the action of a line-item veto under the authority of the Ohio Constitution. Our associations may submit requests for line-item vetoes after reviewing the details of the bill.
