The conference committee adopted the attached amendment today (4-2), with Rep. Liston and Senator Williams voting against it. Please see synopsis of the amendment starting on page 12 of the attachment.
The amendment will now move to the floor of both chambers TODAY. Please contact your legislators immediately to let them know the proposed changes, in practice, are prohibitive to school districts filing complaints, which will shift the tax burden to residential and other commercial property taxpayers.
