Last Friday was a landmark day for Ohio public schools with the introduction of Senate Bill (SB) 376, the companion bill to Substitute House Bill (HB) 305. Members of the Fair School Funding Plan Workgroup provided testimony in the House Finance Committee today. The Workgroup will continue their testimony next Tuesday, Nov. 17.
Your attendance is requested at regional Zoom meetings scheduled for this Friday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. to discuss coordinating efforts for providing testimony in support of the Fair School Funding Plan. A lead has been identified for each region to draft testimony for that region with the opportunity for districts to sign-on in support of the testimony. The draft testimony for your region and details related to next steps will be addressed during the regional meetings on Friday. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the testimony and sign on to the testimony via a provided link.
