ODE has released a draft of the proposed changes to the rules related to the five-year forecast. The proposed changes can be found here.
The input of our members is important as the draft is edited in preparation for approval by the State Board of Education. Members of the OASBO Ed Finance Committee participated in the review of an initial draft, and appreciate that many of their comments are reflected in the version linked above. However, there are some outstanding concerns of the Committee, which are outlined in the letter attached here.
While OASBO has provided this feedback on behalf of members, we ask that you also send an email outlining the concerns in the letter by January 3rd.
